Welcome
Congratulations - our raffle has a winner!
The first online raffle from the North Wessex Downs Landscape Trust finished on 30th June, with the draw taking place on 1st July. Just over £1900 was raised by supporters buying their raffle tickets online to be in with a chance of winning one overall prize of an overnight stay with dinner at The Crown & Anchor in the village of Ham in Wiltshire, a book “Walks from the Crown & Anchor”, tickets and flour from Wilton Windmill and tickets from Crofton Beam Engine – altogether creating a perfect couple of days’ stay in the heart of the North Wessex Downs.
Chairman Donald Sherlock said, ‘We are delighted this raffle has been such a success and our sincere thanks go to those who bought tickets and of course the generous donors of the prize. These funds will help us greatly with our vital conservation work and community projects.’ The winner was drawn at random and the prize was won by Natalie Neal. ‘I’m really thrilled to win the prize and am looking forward to staying at the Crown & Anchor and visiting Wilton Windmill and Crofton Beam Engines – it’s going to be a really lovely couple of days!’
Well done Natalie and enjoy your prizes.
